1. Optional features in Windows 10 cannot install

   I am having problem installing optional features from Settings -> System -> Apps & Features -> Manage Optional Features? If I select any feature to install whether it is .NET Framework 3.5 or a language pack, all that happens is the view refreshes and the feature isn't installed. Additionally, I constantly go notifications throughout the 24-hour interval that "Windows is adding features" and then immediately a notification that "Something happened and we couldn't install features". These notifications emanate from the language pack trying to install additional features namely Bones Typing, Handwriting and Oral communication. The language is the default English US. I tried changing it, to no avail, the problem persists.

   I upgraded from Windows viii.1 to x, so did a clean install of Windows ten. I'm on a cellular connection, and the pick to mark the connection as non-metered is grayness'd out, and so I cannot change it - but my Windows Update seem to be working just fine.

   Is this happening for others likewise? Does anyone have a solution?

   Same issue here. I'm trying to install Windows Media Player but the optional features page doesn't list anything available to install.

   fwiw, I just restarted and information technology showed up and installed. Not certain if information technology was related to the reboot or only time taking care of it (perhaps the service was temporarily unavailable?)

5. Could you connect to another not-metered connectedness? Then allow Windows Update end. Y'all cannot change features when updates still awaiting. You accept to restart the computer to confirm that all updates have finished earlier trying additional features again.
